With only a few days until NFL Media Day, I felt it was only right to give a little #tbt to one of the most heartless moves in Super Bowl history by the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick.
The man you see in the above photo is Tiquan Underwood, ex-Rutgers star wide out who was part of the 2011-12 New England Patriots Super Bowl
team run. He was so fired up he shaved that beautiful design into his head. A real “ride-or-die” Pats Guy – EMIRIGHT?!
Wait, you guys don’t remember him?
Well, that’s fair… Because the Pats cut him on the eve of Super Bowl XLVI in order to sign a defensive lineman, Alex Silvestro (huge name drop), onto the official roster for game day.
Well, karmic retribution had its way with the Patriots as they lost the game to the Giants 21-17, so eat a fat one there Pats fans.
I can’t wait to see what asshole, ruthless move Belichick makes this year that messes with karma, and then the Dirty Birds fly their way to Matty Ice’s first title.
Who’s getting cut this year? My money is on defensive lineman Woodrow Hamilton… Look for him to maybe get a full back tattoo of himself and Belichick hugging raising the Lombardi trophy together. He’ll likely unveil it on Media Day and then next thing you know, he’s released so they can pickup a kicker who specializes in onside kicks and that’s how they start the game off… You heard it here first.
But getting back to it… Tiquan Underwood, you’ll forever go down in history as the victim of a ruthless roster move right before the Super Bowl – but I’ll remember you as the WR who I could always sign in Madden super cheap based solely on your “Speed” rating.
Let’s go Birds, Fuck the Pats,
