Having mid-week AND weekend EPL games is like talking to extremely attractive identical twins. Very exciting, a little confusing – but you just go with it. First game starts at 7:30 AM and you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be drinking for it.
SPARKNOTES: Chelsea come up big; Everton slugs it out; Crystal Palace pulls it together; Leicester brings the big upset.
Saturday, February 4th
Chelsea v. Arsenal
@ Stamford Bridge, 7:30am
GAME OF THE WEEK. Huge London Derby here. I expect a very spicy game here. Sanchez and Ozil always make me worried so you can expect a lot of heat by the Gunners here. I have tremendous faith in the Chelsea back line and Costa will transform into Hulk mid game. 2-0 Chelsea.
Watford v. Burnley
@ Vicarage Road, 10:00am
Both teams got crucial wins on Tuesday. Watford silenced Arsenal away and I see no reason for them to drop points at home. Burnley have done better than expected but they just aren’t convincing. Watford 1-0.
Southampton v. West Ham
@ Saint Mary’s, 10:00am
West Ham got spanked in their last game. They’ll be looking for a strong redemption here and will fail. Southampton has been struggling as well. Tie game here.
Everton v. Bournemouth Everton
@ Goodison, 10:00am
Everton Fucks. Blue collar work ethics here (for the most part). Bournemouth is a team I do not see staying in the league long. 3-0 Everton.
West Brom v. Stoke Stoke
@ The Hawthorns, 10:00am
Stoke has a lot of flop names. You know young talent goes to a big team and fails under the lights then get sold to a cold city. So these guys have a chip on their shoulder. 2-0 Stoke.
Hull v. Liverpool
@ Hull City Stadium, 10:00am
Hull held a stern line midweek against a struggling United side. Liverpool has also struggled against shit teams. Could see an upset but unlikely. 2-0 Liverpool.
Crystal Palace v. Sunderland
@ Selhurst Park
Gotta give the edge to Crystal Palace here. Sunderland held Tottenham to a draw during the week but with no attacking prowess. 1-0 Palace, good chance of a tie.
Tottenham v. Middlesbrough
@ Whitehart Lane, 12:30pm
Sp*rs light it up. After a shitty game during the week this will be seen as a must win game. Expect a lot of shots this game and Middlesbrough just playing for a draw. 2-0 Sp*rs.
Manchester City v. Swansea City
@ Etihad Stadium, 8:30am
City had a good signing during during the January transfer window. Some fresh legs for the grossly rich. Swansea, I love you. So much heart, not your year. 2-0 City.
Leicester City v. Manchester U.
@ King Power Stadium, 11:00am
Leicester FINALLY get a win. United need a win after being held goalless against Hull. However they are totally overrated and I simply do not like them. 2-1 Leicester.
Last Weeks Comparison: Not so great, BUT I did call Arsenal losing so suck it NERDS.
