Wisconsin vs Florida
A solid #4 v #8 matchup, both teams proved they deserve to be here with Wisconsin beating Nova, and Florida looks like a team that is well out-playing their seed. This is going to be a very close contest. Nigel Hayes of Wisconsin is going to be the catalyst for the Badgers offense as far as doing the dirty work, while Koenig jacks up those three pointers. If he’s on, so is Wisconsin. Wisconsin Wins.

Baylor vs South Carolina
For some reason I feel like this game is going to be the most boring of the week. Yes, the Gamecocks are coming of a huge win and are in their first sweet sixteen ever but I’m gonna throw all that shit out the window. This round is what separates the men from the boys and I think Baylor is going to be too tough defensively for Carolina. Baylor Wins.

Gonzaga vs West Virginia
I hate Gonzaga but they continue to prove me wrong in this tournament. They are a legit number one seed, but I think they get pushed to the brink of elimination by West Virginia’s elite defense. Still, I think the Sags will find a way to win. Gonzaga Wins.

Xavier vs Arizona
Xavier is the lowest seed in the sweet sixteen and it would be quite the story if they knocked of Arizona but that is very very unlikely. Arizona if you mess this up honestly you’re all a bunch of jackasses and just handed Gonzaga a free pass to final four, Don’t give Xavier any reason to believe they deserve to be on the same court and you’ll be alright. Zona Wins.

Kansas vs Purdue
This is a very winnable matchup for the men from Purdue but Frank Mason III and Josh Jackson have been playing like they should be so Caleb Swanigan is going to have his work cut out for him and be a nuisance the entire game and if he doesn’t get into foul trouble early he could keep Purdue in the game the entire way. De’vonte Graham is going to be the X-factor for the Jayhawks, if he can get it going and take a little bit of the pressure off mason and Jackson then the Jayhawks should walk away with this one. Kansas wins.

Oregon vs Michigan
This game is going to be a toss up, Dillon Brooks is going to have to be on for Oregon to have a chance to. Michigan is one of the hottest teams left in the tournament so Oregon is going to have to come out firing on both sides of the ball. Michigan’s offense is going to start with D.J. Wilson and Derek Walton Jr., I wouldn’t be surprised if this game came down to the last shot. Dillon Brooks is going set the tone early and eliminate any hope for Michigan. Oregon wins.

North Carolina vs Butler
Joel Berry II has been very suspect with his performance in this tournament and Butler is going to take full advantage of that. UNC barely got by Arkansas because of Berry’s absence and neither Kennedy Meeks or Justin Jackson have stepped up on the big stage. Butler is a very Hungry team looking to upset the heels by any means necessary. If Andrew Chrabascz can win the rebounding battle with Meeks and Kelan Martin has a productive night coming off the bench I don’t see Butler losing this game. Butler Wins.

North Carolina Tar Heels Loss

UCLA vs Kentucky
This is going to be the Game of the tournament. Kentucky has the cream of the crop, in every position on the court but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re the better TEAM. Lonzo ball has been the best player the entire season and he’s going to play the game of his life on the big stage. Everyone is going to be focusing on Ball and not realize that there is another phenomenal player alongside him, T.J. Leaf. Leaf is going to shoot his shot and open up the Kentucky defense to allow Ball facilitate on offense. This game is going to be nuts. UCLA wins.
