Sooooo apparently, Aaron Hernandez was found Not Guilty in the double murder case. Now, I’m not going to pretend like I know all of the details of the case, because I don’t. But it seems pretty wild that he was found not guilty!

Lets just take a look back at some of the other famous football players who have murdered people and gotten away with it.

Of course, our friend, the notorious, OJ Simspon. He was tried for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Everyone pretty much thought, yeah this dude definitely killed these two people. But the courts decided otherwise. NOW, you may say, hold up, OJ is in jail! Yeah, he’s in jail for robbery and kidnapping in 2008. He’s actually up for parole in October of this year. We’ll see how that goes.

Next up we have probably the most successful murderer, behind Hillary Clinton, Ray Lewis. Ray was charged with the murder of two men outside of Atlanta night club. He supposedly stabbed them to death. How did he respond to these allegations? He responded by saying something along the lines of, “How could I have done that, I wasn’t dressed the part.” Which is a pretty ridiculous defense, but hey, I don’t have a law degree.

And that brings us to the most recent to join the list, Aaron Hernandez. (Also, why are there so many damn photos of this dude looking over his shoulder? Who’s coming for him?) He was found not guilty of the double murder in the drive by. BUT, he was found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm. That’s only 4-5 years, and with good behavior this guy is going to be out in like a year. So basically he is going to turn into a thief and kidnapper and he will be just like OJ. Unfortunately there wasn’t any huge car chase or anything, but I expect every TV channel to pick this up in 20 years and make a bunch of money off of a documentary.

Any guesses on who will be next to be a murderer in the NFL and not be guilty? Find out who within the next 3 years!

Ragu, out.
