Week 35 and the title race is still there for the taking. I REALLY was hoping that Chelsea would have had this one in the bag by now, but where’s the fun in that. As long as there is not another Man City 2012 I won’t have a heart attack. This is a huge week because, dare I say it – Arsenal needs to win. Relax everyone, I have the Blues at heart here, all part of the plan. Without further ado, your weekend plans.
SPARKNOTES: Arsenal v. Tottenham is the game of the week. City will go crazy. Swansea pull off Magic.
West Brom v. Leicester
The Hawthorns, 10:00am
In order for West Brom to sign any decent players in the summer they need to stay in the top 8. Leicester can’t drop into relegation so they have nothing left to play for. 2-0 West Brom.
Southampton v. Hull
St. Mary’s, 10:00am
The Saints have a good opportunity to stick a dagger into Hull who only sit two points above the drop zone. The last 5 teams have so little between them it’s all about grit to see who fights through. 2-1 Southampton.
Stoke v. West Ham
Decent game here. Both have cocky strikers who think their shit don’t stink. The Hammers travel well and even though they go to the shit north, I think they got it. 1-1 tie.
Sunderland v. Bournemouth
Stadium of Light, 10:00am
Sunderland is soooooo bad. Bournemouth will win. That being said, the Sunderland players and fans are great. A young fan named Bradley has a rare cancer called neuroblastoma. The community has been incredible and it is worth you checking out. Prayers to everyone fighting terrible diseases. Fuck Cancer.
Crystal Palace v. Burnley
Selhurst Park, 12:30pm
The Eagles pull out crazy wins against good teams. Then, they just shit the bed. This week is a “shit the bed” week for them. Good chance of a tie and 3 yellow cards. 0-0.
Man U. v. Swansea
Old Trafford, 7:00am
As you all know, Swansea cannot defend; Man U can. They just held City to zero goals after doing an incredible job parking the bus. United will be under prepared and will pull off an incredible choking maneuver. 2-2.
Middlesbrough v. Man City
City will be out for blood. They should have destroyed United midweek but didn’t. The floodgates will open and it will NOT be pretty. 47-0 Man City.
Everton v. Chelsea
Goodison Park, 9:05am
Stern game this week. Powerful strikers upfront going up against very good defensive formations. Chelsea needs to get some separation here to help lock up the league. Everton will be salivating with the opportunity to ruin the Blues season. 3-1 Chelsea.
Tottenham v. Arsenal
White Hart Lane, 11:30am
Game of the Week. Arsenal has not finished below Tottenham since the time Caesar ruled. If they want any bragging rights this summer they need to win. Sp*rs will be incredibly salty after Chelsea spanked them last weekend. I’m excited for this. 3-2 Sp*rs.
Watford v. Liverpool
Vicarage Road, 3:00pm
This breaks up the Monday, but that’s about it. Liverpool will win and it really won’t be a contest. It works out nicely for the boys from the Northwest since they will need this win to stay ahead of City. 3-0 Liverpool.
Sky Blue FC v. FC. Kansas Shitty
Yurcak Field, 6:00pm (Sunday)
Your boy and Taylor secured Press Passes. You read that right, it’s time for some hard hitting question to come to the NWSL. This league is about to get the shake up it needs. Stayed tuned, this WILL get spicy.
PS. my crush plays for them.
