It hasn’t been a secret that I hated the Kevin Durant to the Warriors move. It was soft, it was a “give me a championship NOW” move, and it goes against all the competitiveness and pride that I think professional sports SHOULD be about.

Now, we have another star rumored to be doing the same… Kyle Lowry, the Toronto Raptors PG, is looking to make the move West to a championship ready team.

What pisses me off is that Lowry already is on a team that is there every year.

Sure they got swept this year, BY THE TEAM THAT WILL GO TO THE FINALS, buuuuut last year the Raptors had that same Cavs team they lost to, tied 2-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals! You’d have to go back to the 2012-13 season to remember the Raptors NOT in the playoffs!

Where is the competitive spirit? Where is the “Damnit, we lost. I gotta hit the gym and come back better and stronger?”

Bunch of snowflakes in the league, softer than ever before!!

It really is a bummer to be watching these playoffs games with a foregone conclusion of who is going to win. Sure, it’s fun to root for the underdog, but when there is ZERO chance they can win – is it even fun?

The only way the Warriors or the Cavs don’t meet in the Finals seems to be injuries… And I’m not rooting for an injury to occur just to make watching games fun.

Lowry, you still have a chance to go back to Toronto and finish what you and DeRozan started. Don’t be KD. Don’t be Charmin soft.
