Recap of Last Night: Split decision. The Rockies ONCE AGAIN killed the Phillies. Apparently the Cavs just didn’t want to play basketball in the first half so that over didn’t quite get there. My apologies on that. Let’s get back to 2-0 tonight. Overall Record (42-24-2).

Colorado Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Opening Lines
Run Line: -1.5 Rockies
Over/Under: 9
Moneyline: (-120 Rockies, +110 Phillies)

You know what? Let’s go for the sweep. I’ve taken the Rockies in the past two games against the Phillies, and rightfully so. They have bashed them by 8 or more runs in BOTH GAMES! I think the Rockies are poised the finish off this team tonight and get a solid road sweep. Break out the brooms baby.

Predictions: Lock the Rockies Money Line. The Rockies have dismantled the Phillies. The Phillies are egregiously slumping. Lock it in. I expect the over to hit and the Rockies to cover the spread.

Boston Red Sox vs. Texas Rangers

Opening Lines
Run Line: -1.5 Sox
Over/Under: 9
Moneyline: (-220 Sox, +240 Rangers)

I hate the Red Sox but I do have a brain. Chris Sale is scary good. I’m pretty sure I can call him the best pitcher in baseball right now. Guy has had 10 strikeouts in each of the last 9 games he has pitched. Texas look out. You may be able to feel a breeze down there from the northeast tonight.

Predictions: Lock the Red Sox Money Line. As long as the bats provide some noise, Boston should be fine. Chris Sale is going to shut it down. Hopefully the bullpen and the bats can hold up. I expect the under to hit and the Red Sox to cover the spread.
