Let’s get to it. Typically when I nerd out before these games, good things happen for the Yanks…
Having CC on the bump tonight definitely has me excited. His 9-strikeout performance in the do-or-die Game 5 against Cleveland was a thing of beauty, and again we’re going to need our workhorse to come up big.
His career versus this Houston lineup definitely has me feeling some type of way. The ‘Stros have only hit .193 (17-88) against the big man:
However, his last three ALCS games… Well, they could have gone better! Between 2010 and 2012, CC went 0-2 in three games pitching 13.2 innings, earning 12 runs over that span…
Wait, wait, wait Tommy Boy!! We’re not done… Because guess what?

THAT’S FUCKING RIGHT CC!!!
By the way, let’s not pretend like we finally don’t have a stud opposing pitcher facing US tonight!! Charlie Morton’s career against the Yanks… Well:
I’ll take ANY pitcher that lets up over a run every five at bats, especially AT YANKEE STADIUM IN THE PLAYOFFS… I am getting so jazzed up just thinking about this!!
Oh, and before I forget, two more things of note…
