Today the Cubs took on the Marlins to start Opening Day (btw, a GREAT matchup by the MLB… a stud team versus the equivalent of a AA-team), and on the very first pitch he saw, Ian Happ went yard:
GOODBYE, BASEBALL!

Why is this hilarious? Well… a Chicago beat writer got cute and tweeted THIS before the game started:
If Ian Happ leads off today's game with a home run, I will jump in Lake Michigan later today.

Well Michael Cerami, whoever the fuck you are, let me know how nice that water is, will ya? Should be refreshing!
P.S. A hilarious stat out of this game already was that Marlins pitcher Jose Urena hit three batters in his first inning of 2018… NAILED IT!!
