Let’s get right to the headlines, shall we?
Masters Greens Still Baffle Some of the Tour Best Even During Battle for Course Record
Even on a day that both Spieth and Casey took serious runs at the course record and Tony Finau hit six straight birdies on the back nine. Some of the greens still made the world’s best look a little silly. Bubba Watson putted his ball in the bunker while attempting an eagle putt.

Tiger lost his bid to stay at Even on a very interesting attempt on the 18th. And even the champion Patrick Reed nearly launched a putt of the green on the 2nd.
Charley Hoffman Hits a Hole in One
I honestly missed this one yesterday. If a hole-in-one exists in the middle of one the greatest final rounds, does it make a sound? Not really, but let’s take a moment to celebrate again with Mr. Hoffman on his great achievement on the 16th. And a congrats to all the reporters as they will be receiving their first round on Charley at the bar tonight. Hopefully, he can expense that to Waste Management.

Patrick Reed Signs Deal to be Next Captain America
A majority of fans were cheering for the tour stalwarts of Rory, Fowler, and Spieth. But with more and more shots of Reed and his yardage book at each tee box, the fans and Marvel started to get thinking. Spoiler Alert! It is very likely that the Chris Evans version of Captain America will find his demise at the hands of Thanos. But, I think we may have the new Captain America figured out armed with his Vibranium Yardage Book. Patrick Reed would look like the perfect sidekick next to Thor & The Hulk. And I bet CGI can handle that Round Face Disease issue, I mean it made Al Pacino look wayyyy too similar to Joe Paterno that it got a little creepy.
Thanks to all who joined the pool this year and a special announcement: We will be running an inaugural pool for the US Open at Shinnecock Hills this year if you are interested in a little more degenerate golf gambling!!
